A place to practise the least natural move in thinking: going back to a question you already answered.

The short version

What Deeperpectives is

Deeperpectives collects logic puzzles, debate scenarios, reasoning games and decision exercises. They are short, they are meant to be finished in one sitting, and they share a shape: you answer first, and then the exercise shows you the same question from the side you were not standing on.

Sometimes that means a right answer you walked past. Sometimes there is no right answer, only the strongest case for the option you turned down. Either way you leave with more of the room in view than you came in with.

Logic

Does the conclusion actually follow?

Short puzzles built from clean premises. The work is finding the one seam where they lock together, or the one place they only look like they do.

Room 2

Debate

Pick a side. Then argue the other one better.

A scenario with two defensible positions. You take one, and then you are handed the strongest version of the one you turned down.

Room 3

Reasoning

The first answer is fast. The second one is yours.

Questions with an obvious answer that happens to be wrong. They reward the habit of checking the step you were surest about.

Decisions

Choose, then look at what the choice cost.

Two options that are both reasonable and cannot both be had. The exercise is saying out loud what you gave up, and whether you would give it up again.

Perspectives

The same room, seen from both sides.

The thread through all of it. Stand somewhere else and the same facts sit closer, or farther, or in a different order.

Accounts

Optional, and small.

You can read and try things without one. An account is an email, a username and a password. When scored games open, scores are kept under that username on the leaderboard.
