If the Train Is Late
Logic · Logic puzzle
A red board fits a cancellation. It fits other faults too.
Read the two premises and the conclusion below them. Pretend the premises are true, then ask whether the conclusion must be true as well. Choose Follows or Does not follow. Your answer locks, and a short note names the form of the argument and repeats its shape with sillier content. At the end of the set you see each argument beside its form: modus ponens, modus tollens, affirming the consequent, denying the antecedent, a chain, or a broken chain. Later sets bring longer lines and harder wording, and the P and Q colours wait until you have answered.
Does the conclusion actually follow?
